2 mm ECO Felt Carpet by the Metre – 145 cm Wide – Optional Self-Adhesive Backing

High-quality 2 mm carpet felt made from recycled PET, ideal for camper van conversions, van lining, motorhomes, caravans, boats and DIY interior projects. The felt is sold by the metre, is approx. 145 cm wide and is optionally available with a practical self-adhesive backing.

Please note: Cotton, Camel and Denim are currently out of stock and are expected to be available again from mid-October.

If you require 3 metres, simply select a quantity of 3 and add it to your basket. The maximum continuous length is 25 metres.

Our Eco Carpet Stretch Felt is highly flexible and easy to work with. It can be cut using scissors or a utility knife and adapts well to curves, corners, recesses and uneven surfaces.

The material is made in Europe from 96% recycled PET and is GRS certified. Unlike many conventional automotive and camper lining felts, our material is not sourced from the Far East. It has been tested for harmful substances and is suitable for a wide range of interior applications.

It is particularly suitable as:

  • DIY and furniture projects

Thanks to its flexible structure, the felt can be applied to flat surfaces as well as curved areas and mouldings. It creates a clean, comfortable interior finish while also helping to improve sound and thermal insulation.

Optional Self-Adhesive Backing

The self-adhesive version is equipped with a strong dispersion acrylic adhesive. Simply remove the protective backing film and apply the felt directly to a suitable clean surface.

The self-adhesive backing has an approximate heat resistance of 55–60°C.

For areas exposed to higher temperatures, such as some parts of a panel van or camper conversion, we recommend choosing the non-adhesive version and using a suitable high-temperature spray adhesive instead. Some Würth spray adhesives, for example, are temperature-resistant up to approx. 90°C. Please note that we do not sell spray adhesive.

Sound and Thermal Insulation

The felt helps reduce interior noise and provides additional protection against cold surfaces. This makes it particularly suitable for camper vans, motorhomes, boats and other vehicle interiors where a quieter and more comfortable atmosphere is desired.

Flexible Carpet Felt for Curves and Corners

At just 2 mm thick, the material is highly flexible and can be shaped around edges, curves, wheel arches, recesses and other complex areas. This makes it especially useful for professional and DIY van conversions.

Easy to Cut and Install

The felt can easily be cut to size with scissors or a utility knife. This allows you to create accurate shapes and customised solutions without special tools.

Shipping and Return

You can return the product within 14 days of delivery if you are not happy with it, provided the front and back are the same colour. However, individual colour combinations, such as lime/flamingo, cannot be exchanged.

    Ich habe zum ersten Mal Filz in meinem Campervan verarbeitet und bin wirklich zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. Anfangs war ich unsicher, ob sich das selbstklebende Filz auch in den Rundungen gut verarbeiten lässt, aber es hat erstaunlich gut geklappt, da es flexibel genug ist. Besonders gut gefallen hat mir die Farbauswahl bei feltd. Das bestellte Farbmuster hat mir außerdem sehr geholfen, die richtige Entscheidung zu treffen

    guter selbstklebender Filz
    Bei der ersten Lieferung war ich skeptisch, weil der mit 145 cm doch recht breite Filz gefaltet in einem Karton geliefert wurde. Verklebt sieht man aber von den Knickspuren nichts mehr. Die Klebekraft ist gut und mit einer von Materialstärke 2 mm leicht zu verarbeiten. Die Farbe "Linnen" war die richtige Wahl - hellt den Innenraum gut auf.

    Habe den selbtklebenden Eco Filz schon zum 2. mal bestellt, weil ich die Einbauten in meinem Bus damit verkleide. Und obwohl die erste Bestellung schon ewig her ist, ist kein Farbunterschied erkennbar. Verarbeitung geht super einfach und sieht edel aus. Bin rundum zufrieden! Auch die Lieferung war top. Sonntag per Vorkasse bestellt, Dienstag war die Ware da. Super!
